Recent visitors to our centre.
Chris Ruane a former MP of the British Parliament and now an Honorary President of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Mindfulness visited on October 12th 2015 with his lovely wife Gill.
We had wonderful chats together about Education and the impact that mindfulness has on children. It was a great honour and a privilege to have them visit Nurture by Nature.
“Elaine, thanks for a lovely visit. Gill and I were really impressed with your passion, vision and determination. You’re a trailblazer.”
Senator Fidelma Healy Eames Galway West/South Mayo
Senatore Fidelma Healy Eames visited Nurture by Nature on October 21st 2015 and had a wonderful morning immersed in the beautiful setting and surrounded by the free spirited Nurture by Nature children.
“Last Tuesday morning I visited Elaine Kerins ‘ new venture ‘Nurture by Nature’ educational, social and environmental experience for preschool children in Kilcornan, Clarinbridge. I cannot say enough of good things about it. Elaine had been a former teacher education student of mine when I worked in Mary Immaculate College Limerick and she has spent the last 10 years or so teaching in a great local primary school, Clarinbridge NS.
With Nurture by Nature Elaine has taken a leap of faith, followed a passion and has created a magical place for children. Just check out the pics! I loved it and would highly recommend. If I had a little preschool kid of that age I would want them to be there. It is a great environment in which to let the young child be, to imagine, to create and above all a great space in which to invest in their mental health and well being. They even had an affirmation of ‘Fantastic Fidelma’ ready for me! Not everyday a politician gets that first thing in the morning!
The parents I met realise that this is a unique place too. Every success to you Elaine and your assistant Siobhan going forward.”
John Quinn a famous local poet and author of many children’s books visited Nurture by Nature in September 2015 and was so inspired by it and the children that he returned a week later with a beautifully hand written framed poem for us named “ This is the place”.
We were so humbled and honoured by the presentation of this poem to us. John read the poem surrounded by all our children and they were really intrigued by this amazing poet and author. Our little mantra from this poem is “This is the very best place to be, this is the place where I can be me”
